January 12, 2006

Stephen Ashkin was honored as the "Green Building Advocate of the Year" at the U.S. Green Building Council GreenBuild Conference 2005 in Atlanta.

"I am truly honored to be recognized as the Green Building Advocate of the Year, especially considering all of the amazing people who contribute so much to this movement," Ashkin said.

"We are very pleased to present Steve with the Green Building Advocate of the Year Award," Michael Arny, president of the Leonardo Academy in Madison, Wis. and who was until recently the chair of the USGBC's LEED-EB Committee, said. "He has done so much to promote a healthier, greener and more sustainable world."
