Bona US Prepares for Growth Opportunities, Improves Efficiencies

AURORA, COLO., November 7, 2008 – Bona US, the North
American subsidiary of Bona AB in Sweden and a world leader in hardwood floor
finishing and floor care, announced Todd Schutte as the new director of
professional products and sales and Tom McNeil as the director of distribution
sales to support the company’s opportunity for efficient growth.

channels. Todd and Tom have a vast amount of experience in their designated
areas, and I have confidence in them to lead our professional business in a
positive direction,” said John Rauvola, managing director of Bona US.
Todd Schutte has assumed the new role of director of
professional products and sales for Bona US. With his extensive industry
experience, Schutte will focus on driving the company’s professional product
management to a higher level. In addition, Schutte will lead several key sales
growth initiatives, including Bona adhesives and industrial coatings, and will
continue to maintain responsibility for the Bona tech and training
organization.
Tom McNeil joined Bona in March of 2008 as the national
retail/distribution manager, responsible for managing and growing Bona’s key
retail accounts. With nineteen years of progressive sales and management
experience in Canada and the United States, he will now take over the director
of distribution sales position for Bona US and continue to build the foundation
that Schutte established. McNeil will concentrate on supporting Bona’s customer
base by helping them succeed and grow. Additionally, he will assume management
responsibility for Bona’s Regional Team Managers and Regional Contractor
Consultants, who also support flooring contractors and distributors.
In addition, Gerry Mueller, the senior director of strategic
development at Bona, announced his retirement effective March of 2009. Mueller
most recently managed Bona’s strategic projects and previously served as the
director of marketing. He has been a major asset to the organization for the
past 12 years and leaves Bona with a wealth of industry knowledge, experience
and relationships.
