Buzzelli retires from Dow Board of Directors

Midland, Mich. (PRNewswire) -- David T. Buzzelli has elected to retire from The Dow Chemical Co. Board of Directors, effective December 31. He has served on the Board since 1993. Buzzelli joined Dow in 1965 in Midland, Michigan. In 1990, he became a Dow vice president and corporate director of Environment, Health and Safety. He was named corporate director of Public Affairs and appointed to the Board of Directors in 1993. Buzzelli assumed management responsibility for Information Systems in 1994 and became a senior consultant in 1997.

Buzzelli was named co-chairman of the President's Council on Sustainable Development in 1993, which was established by President Clinton to develop U.S. policies that encourage economic growth, job creation and environmental protection. He continues to serve as a member of the Council.
