Criminal charges have been filed against the owner of a carpet cleaning business for allegedly dumping phosphorus and other pollutants down a street drain. 

MANKATO - Criminal charges have been filed against the owner of a carpet cleaning business for allegedly dumping phosphorus and other pollutants down a street drain.

A city water quality specialist reported watching Brent Galen Erdman discharge water into the storm gutters in front of Erdman’s house on Pinehurst Drive. The water was coming from 60-gallon tanks in the back of one of the vans Erdman uses for his carpet cleaning business, the criminal complaint said. From the Mankato Free Press.
