Carpet Cleaner Alters Business Methods to Fight High Gas Prices
Just because gas prices are high doesn’t mean that businesses that travel to customers (i.e., carpet cleaners) have to charge substantially more to make up the difference. Take Greg Riggs, owner of Carpet Green Clean & Restoration, for example:
From the Fayetteville Observer: “When gas prices began climbing late last year, Greg Riggs decided his carpet-cleaning business needed a change. So he traded in two vans for different models that get nearly double the gas mileage. To Riggs, who owns Carpet Green Clean & Restorations, that means a lot since his business is built on driving to customers.”
