The owner of a Victoria carpet cleaning store accused of dumping a cleaner into a Galesburg storm drain was ticketed by police for allegedly violating the state’s Environmental Protection Act.
But the man
said he is being wrongly accused by city officials and that he dumped an environmentally friendly cleaner into the drain. He added that he will fight the charge in court. From the Galesburg Register-News.
