LUNENBURG - RCMP say seniors are
the target of a scam circulating in Lunenburg.
Since Christmas, residents at two
apartment buildings in the town have been approached by an unregistered
cleaning company.
Police say
those behind the scam offer to steam clean
carpets and upholstery for a set price.
However, once the service has
been completed, the supplier attempts to charge more for extra services or work
