Castex hosts community event to mark name change

September 25, 2000
Castex Inc., a Holland, Mich. township floor care equipment manufacturer, formally took the name of its publicly-traded parent company, Tennant on Sept. 12. The company invited the community to a free, fun-filled evening to mark the occasion. The community event featured comments from prominent community leaders, free refreshments, children’s games and activities, and an open house and tour of the plant. The event concluded with an official corporate sign change from Castex to Tennant-Commercial as well as a professional aerial fireworks display.

The formal transition of Castex to the Tennant-Commercial name for the Holland, Mich. facility coincided with the company’s new branding strategy of creating a unified company that offers four distinctive floor care equipment brands: Tennant, Castex, Nobles, and BlueStar.
