Recessions
do not hit all companies equally, a fact that pleases those at All Seasons
ChemDry of Morgan County.
The
company, which cleans carpets and recently added tile and grout cleaning to its
repertoire, discovered it benefited from customers delaying the large
expenditure of buying new carpet.
When
the economy went sour,
many
elected to clean their carpets instead.
"I
liken it to cars," said Clint Jones, field service representative.
"People don't buy new cars as much in this economy; they repair old cars.
We're like the mechanics. People aren't replacing carpet and flooring as much;
they're using us to save the carpet so they don't have to buy a new one." From
The Decatur Daily.
