Connections Conference a rousing success

The inaugural Connections Conference and Exhibition at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort in Clearwater Beach, Fla., July 15-17, surpassed all expectations for the 500-plus attendees who made the trip to the Gulf Coast event.

A technical conference geared toward cleaning and restoration professionals, the event featured seminars and lectures from more than 20 of the industry's leading experts, including Dr. Michael A. Berry, Kurt Bolden, Carey Mitchell and Scott Rendall, as well as regular ICS columnists Jeff Bishop, Jim Holland and Joe Domin, addressing topics such as "Carpet for a Better Environment," "Methods Testing," "Commercial Carpet Cleaning Maintenance with Encapsulation," and "Water Damage Restoration in a Moldy Building," to name a few.

But all work and no play makes Jack and Jill a little dull. No worries here; poolside receptions, beach parties complete with live music, volleyball and more provided attendees with a perfect blend and education and entertainment to make this one of the most memorable events of the year.
