Sand Hill Systems, a provider of hosted internet B2B e-commerce applications, says DiverseyLever--a business unit of Unilever that supplies cleaning and hygiene solutions--will sell its products online to Pepsi bottlers through the CPG Private eMarketplace. CPG Pepsi Bottlers is an existing buying co-op consisting of 140 Pepsi Cola franchise bottlers purchasing from 100 suppliers, including DiverseyLever. DiverseyLever will be using Sand Hill's Sell-Side Solution Basic to sell its products online through the CPG Private eMarketplace, helping both CPG members and DiverseyLever reduce errors and save money. CPG's goal is to move 100% of their offline transactions online.
By joining the private marketplace, DiverseyLever will be able to offer efficient online ordering, as well as online product information such as pictures and specification sheets, customer-specific pricing and product lists, and online order status. Sand Hill Systems will work with both DiverseyLever and CPG to ensure that all data is loaded quickly and accurately and that DiverseyLever administrators and CPG buyers are completely trained on the system.
