Dri-Eaz holds grand opening of Southeast Operations Center

February 6, 2003
Dri-Eaz Products Inc. held its grand opening of the company’s new Southeast Operations Center in Nashville, Tenn., Jan. 14-17. Leaders from the insurance, restoration and rental industries, as well as professionals from related associations, were on hand as the center held its inaugural Applied Structural Drying course.

The new facility includes a product warehouse, sales office, product service center and an education campus complete with a 1,100-square-foot furnished flood house. Guests of the class explored the latest drying techniques, and were among the first to evaluate the new four-day format (the company will expand all its ASD courses to four days in 2003 as customers have consistently requested more time for certified courses).

Jim Myers, Dri-Eaz education manager, explains “having the flood house outside in this region will enhance our research and development efforts by providing us the opportunity to compare and contrast drying methods in different climates.” The information will benefit the company’s product development process and help foster more-efficient drying methods, the company said.
