Emerson acquires vacuum manufacturer ProTeam

BOISE, IDAHO (Sept. 3, 2009) -ProTeam, a leading provider of commercial vacuums, announced Emerson has acquired the Boise-based company, effective September 2, 2009.

This strategic acquisition will strengthen and broaden Emerson’s line of products, while providing ProTeam with new growth opportunities and synergies through complementary product portfolios, channels and operations,” said ProTeam President Matt Wood.

ProTeam, the world’s largest provider of innovative commercial backpack vacuums, will become part of the globally operating Emerson Professional Tools platform.
