First NOFMA-certified wood flooring inspectors gain certification
The Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association recently awarded NOFMA-Certified Wood Flooring Inspector certification to three individuals who completed all the necessary requirements to attain the certification.
John Dailey of Midwest Restoration Services in Wheaton, Ill., Mark Brown of Carpet Arts Inspection Services in Ellicott City, Md., and Chris Godfrey of Spector, Ltd., in Mission Viejo, Calif. became the first three NOFMA-Certified Wood Flooring Inspectors. All three are professional floor-covering inspectors.
The NOFMA-CWFI program is the only certification program, according to the Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association, to require a combination of educational training, practical experience, and both site- and report review in order to earn credentials.
