GE Protimeter manufactures meters for moisture detection

GE Protimeter manufactures a range of moisture detection instruments that can be used in conjunction with mold abatement procedures. The meters feature easy-to-read LCD or LED displays that can reveal mold-causing moisture from fire control, storm, water or other damage, the company says.

The 3-in-1 MMS can assess moisture levels in the air as well as in building materials. The Surveymaster SM is a dual-mode meter that uses pin electrodes, deep wall probes and a non-invasive search mode. The Hygromaster uses a Hygrostick probe to measure relative humidity within wall cavities, floors and ambient conditions.
