Green Seal announces standard initiation

Green Seal has announced that it is initiating development of an environmental standard for cleaning service providers, including building service contractors, now that it has received the necessary funding.

"I am pleased to report that we have reached the base funding required to initiate developing the green cleaning service standard," said Arthur Weissman, Ph.D., president and CEO of Green Seal, Inc. "We are grateful for the generosity and support of the charter companies, who each contributed $10,000 toward developing the standard."

The charter companies include Spartan Chemical Co.; National Chemical Laboratories; JohnsonDiversey; ProTeam; Coastwide Laboratories; and PortionPac Chemical Corp.
