IICRC approves new hard surface certification categories

The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) Board of Directors recently approved three new certification categories at the Spring 2001 board meeting.

The approved categories were ceramic tile inspector (CTI), wood/laminate flooring inspector (WFI) and resilient flooring inspector (RFI). The courses cover manufacturing, material characteristics, specification, substrates, installation and maintenance.
