IICRC makes changes to standards committee leadership

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification announces that Larry Cooper, president of Textile Consultants, Inc., has stepped down as IICRC Standards Committee Chairman after 13 years. Cooper oversaw the writing and publishing of IICRC Standards S100, S500 and S520.

Barry Costa, president of The Costa Group, has been named as the new IICRC Standards Committee Chairman by IICRC President Carey Vermeulen.

"Barry has served on the standards committee for more than 10 years, and as vice chairman for the last three," Vermeulen said. "He has been training for this opportunity for quite some time and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the position."
