IICRC registrations surge in 2006

The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification saw record growth in both certified technicians and certified firms through October 2006. There are roughly 42,000 certified technicians – roughly 5,000 more than at the beginning of the year – and 4,500 firms, about 1,000 more than at the beginning of 2006.

“We are excited about the increase in registrations over the past year and are also encouraged by the fact that more cleaning and restoration firms and technicians are seeing value in participating in the IICRC’s programs,” IICRC President Ruth Travis said. “To see the growth in the number of IICRC certified firms is especially gratifying.”
