John Downey Co. launches education effort

The John Downey Co. recently launched a training-based marketing effort to educate facilities personnel on “a more effective approach to facilities carpet care.”

The company’s system offers a self-described “total care approach,” including proper walk-off mats, vacuuming, spot removal, free-rinsing and non-soil-attracting chemicals, interim maintenance procedures and state-of-the-art extraction cleaning, along with a scheduling and monitoring plan that ties the various elements of the program together.
