"Living" Green Booth Brings Sustainability to Life at NRA Show

May 13, 2009

The first-ever living booth debuts at NRA Show this weekend by EcoLogic Solutions, a leader in green cleaning solutions. “Bringing to life” the most innovative, fully sustainable and cost-saving cleaning technologies in hospitality today, the booth is comprised of a live green floor and walls and made completely of environmentally-preferable materials that underscore EcoLogic Solutions’ commitment to greening the restaurant industry-from the roots up.

The greenest (& cleanest) booth in the history of trade-shows is the brainchild of leading sustainable-support companies and green experts, including EcoLogic Solutions, that will be on-site to provide complete eco-services, information and education to conference participants in the areas of energy, water, air, waste and air pollution. On-site green certification services will be available.

EcoLogic Solutions will demonstrate the benefits of “going green,” how eco-cleaning agents using renewable, easily replenished, cost-saving ingredients can replace traditional/eco-hazardous cleaning, mopping and sanitizing agents, as well as dish and fruit & veggie washes. Information and select items will be on display from the 100% environmentally-preferable hospitality product line-which includes packaging to-go containers, paper, trash liners and equipment.

All items will be transported to the show in a diesel, “grease lightning” truck using carbon negative Waste Vegetable Oil from EcoLogic Solutions’ foodservice customers as the sole fuel source.

Brooklyn-based EcoLogic Solutions (ELS) introduces highly effective, cost competitive, fully environmentally preferable cleaning & maintenance chemicals that revolutionize the hospitality industry. Current clients include Hilton, Le Pain Quotidien, Mandarin Oriental, the Mario Batali restaurant group, Kimpton and Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, among others.

ELS founder Anselm Doering boasts 18 years in the industry and is vice-chair of Manhattan Chamber of Commerce's Green Committee; he frequently speaks on the greening of America’s corporate and public sectors.
