Cleaners from the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom raised more than $5,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at the Piranha Marketing 3-day Boot Camp.

Organizers raised the funds by selling tickets for the chance to cut off the ponytail of marketing expert Joe Polish. Don Deleeuw of Colorado held the winning ticket.

The Boot Camp featured authors, marketing consultants and business experts, including Joe Sugarman, Dan Kennedy, John Carlton, Ken Glickman, Ross Jeffries and Jeff Smith. The seminars covered topics such as finding new clients, maintaining an existing client base and systemizing a cleaning business.

Polish also unveiled the "Better Your Best" Competition, a yearlong contest in which cleaners document their business' improvements in gross sales and systemization for more than $100,000 worth of various prizes.
