MilliCare Partner Honored with IFMA Award

LaGRANGE, Ga., [November 4, 2010] – MilliCare, a provider of environmentally sound textile and carpet cleaning services, announces that Chip Rankin, President of MilliCare partner company EBC MilliCare, has been honored with an IFMA Award of Excellence in the Associate Member category.

  IFMA’s Award of Excellence honors companies, individuals, chapters, and councils who have raised the bar in their contributions to the advancement of the facility management profession and to IFMA around the globe. The Associate Member award is given to an individual who has voluntarily contributed to IFMA through sponsoring programs, presenting innovative sessions on FM-related topics, sponsoring educational research or scholarships, and/or providing technical assistance to other members.

  Rankin has been a member of the Delaware chapter of IFMA since 1990, the first year the chapter was formed. He has taken a lead role in the chapter throughout the years and serves as a committee chair on the board, as well as an advisor to the Strategic Planning and Partner/Sponsor Committees. Rankin has also been involved in the planning and management of the chapter’s annual golf tournament for the past 19 years, which raises money on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of New Castle County. Supporting IFMA even further, EBC MilliCare is a Sustaining Platinum Partner, the highest level of sponsorship, of the Delaware chapter.
