NADCA releases revised HVAC standard

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association has revised and updated the standard "Assessment, Cleaning & Restoration of HVAC Systems (ACR)," releasing the 2005 version in September.

The new standard's language has been updated to coincide with the new terminology used in the indoor air quality industry for the assessment and remediation of mold in HVAC systems. The ACR 2005 is developed through peer review, and is the HVAC cleaning industry's "most comprehensive and rigorous standard to date," according to NADCA.
