New business gives "clean" a new meaning

January 4, 2010

EDWARDSVILLE - Hard surfaces covered in dirt, oil, bacteria and grime may not be a crime, but an Edwardsville business is putting a stop to the dirty stuff.

Grimestoppers provides a hard surface cleaning system that aims to make Madison County shine. Accommodating residential as well as commercial spaces with its four-step process, Grimestoppers guarantees quality work.

Veteran cleaners Jeff Davis; his father, Jerry Davis; and Michael Barthelmess opened Grimestoppers on Aug. 10.

Davis, a Florissant, Mo., native who lives in Edwardsville, began working for his father's cleaning service at the age of 13. After exploring the accounting and insurance industries for seven years, Davis realized he wanted to follow in his father's cleaning footsteps. From TheTelegraph.com.
