New hires strengthen sales and customer support at Dri-Eaz

February 16, 2009 – BURLINGTON, Wash. Dri-Eaz has recently added two experienced sales people to its staff.

Mark Wierda has been hired as Senior Account Manager with responsibility for the Southeast U.S. and certain key accounts. Wierda has over 25 years of industry-related experience, including many years in the janitorial supplies industry.

“I have always respected Dri-Eaz as a company and the products they make,” said Wierda. “They’re successful in their industry for a reason.”

“Mark brings tremendous enthusiasm and experience to the table,” said Steve Fane, Sales Manager at Dri-Eaz. “His broad knowledge of the market and of closely related industries makes him a valuable part of the team.”

Wierda is based in Holland, Michigan, and will cover the southern region of the U.S. – Texas through the Carolinas – as well as key Dri-Eaz customers nationwide.

Keith Armstrong is a new sales account manager based at Dri-Eaz headquarters in Burlington. Armstrong has a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, including sport-related marketing and medical equipment sales.

“I really wanted to work for an industry-leading company with a solid reputation in the marketplace,” said Armstrong. “I did a lot of research on Dri-Eaz and talked to some friends who own a restoration franchise. They said it would be the best career decision I could ever make.”

Armstrong is responsible for accounts in the Midwest and New England areas. “Keith is competitive and a team player,” said Fane. “These traits are a great combination for Dri-Eaz culture and the very competitive restoration market.”
