OSHA Issues Controversial Ergonomics Final Rule
January 8, 2001
ISSA has released an alert announcing OSHA’s release of the final version of its controversial ergonomics regulation. It appears on OSHA’s web site at www.osha.gov. In response to OSHA’s action, the National Coalition on Ergonomics and ISSA, which is a member of NCE, announced the filing of a lawsuit to prevent OSHA from implementing its ergonomics regulation. The final regulation applies to all employers including distributors and manufacturers of cleaning products.
