DENVER – May 29, 2009 – The Professional Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning Association cleaned the two Denver Ronald McDonald Houses in the course of the last month as a donation of over $10,000 to benefit families who have children who are in local hospitals and Children’s Hospital.
The Ronald McDonald House provides facilities for families to stay while their children are being treated primarily for cancer in local hospitals. The Ronald McDonald House operates on donations and cleaning is a large operating expense.
PCUCA currently has 90+ members in the region and in the last month 12 of our member companies donated their time, equipment and trained personnel to properly clean and restore the carpets in the Ronald McDonald Houses. Three member suppliers have donated all of the products used in the cleaning jobs.
The PCUCA Member companies chose to give back to their community and support the efforts of the Ronald McDonald House. About the PCUCA
