"Promoting Profits": The IICRC UK Conference

August 1, 2005
After a very successful "Summer Summit" event in 2004, IICRC UK is organizing another networking opportunity for professionals to learn about new IICRC initiatives for the British cleaning and restoration industry. The event will be held September 9-10 at the Hinckley Island Hotel, Hinckley.

The event will include speakers John Banta, a specialist in microbiological problems resulting from water damage in buildings; Jim Holland, the president of RestCon, a Division of Restoration Consultants Inc., the largest mold remediation training company in the world; Chris Netherton, technical author of the newly published PAS 64 (Publicly Available Specification for professional water damage mitigation and initial restoration of domestic dwellings); and Professor David Proverbs, a leading researcher and author on how to assess and repair flood damaged properties.

Paul Pearce, Chairman of IICRC UK stated "The IICRC is making steady progress in the UK and it looks like we will have a record number of IICRC approved courses and certified technicians in 2005."
