Protimeter transition complete

Protimeter North America's transition to a subsidiary of General Electric is complete, according to company officials.

GE Industrial Systems acquired Protimeter, a manufacturer of hand-held moisture meters, late last year as part of Spirent's Sensing Solutions group, a UK-based international network technology company.

The new subsidiary will be called GE Measurement & Sensing Technologies, with GE Protimeter as a business unit within the group, according to company officials.
