Sam Robin, Former Pacific Floor Care Owner, Dies

Sam Robin, Pacific Floor Care consultant and former owner, died Dec. 3, 2005 at his home after a brief illness.
Robin started his career as a sanitary supply distributor before acquiring Pacific Floor Machine Manufacturing Co. in 1952. In 1985 Robin sold the company to Larry Hines, who later relocated the San Francisco-based company to Muskegon, Mich. Although "officially" retired since 2003, Robin was still an active territory manager for the company in Northern California until his death.
