Sapphire hires new Corporate Sales Manager

Burlington, Wash., April 2, 2009 -- Legend Brands announced today that Dorrel Allsop has been named Corporate Sales Manager for Sapphire Scientific, a growing provider of equipment and chemicals for carpet cleaning professionals. Dorrel’s primary responsibilities include working with Sapphire’s distributors and corporate partners to build the business.
“Dorrel has a strong record of growing sales accounts,” said Bill Bruders, CEO of Legend Brands. “He has accomplished this by focusing on delivering what his customers want. He’s a ‘make it happen’ kind of person, and a great fit for the way we do business at Sapphire.”
Dorrel’s background includes over 18 years of sales experience with United Parcel Service, where he managed increasingly valuable sales accounts and implemented numerous highly successful internal incentive programs. For the last four years, he worked as a regional VP of Sales for a shipping logistics firm, developing new sales initiatives and cultivating new clients.
For the present, Dorrel will divide his time between operations in Burlington, Wash., where Sapphire accessories like the Stryker Wand and Upholstery Tool are manufactured, and Prescott, Ariz., where Sapphire truckmounts are manufactured.
