Shaw introduces M.A.C. carpet maintenance program

Shaw Industries’ Technical Services recently introduced its M.A.C. Advantage to the professional cleaning industry M.A.C. (for Maintenance and Cleaning) is a web-based training program for teaching the proper maintenance and cleaning processes for Shaw’s commercial carpet products.

The MAC Advantage is composed of five key steps:  preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, daily maintenance, interim maintenance and deep cleaning using hot-water extraction. The interactive program also covers topics such as the science behind proper cleaning, in addition to how to choose carpets that make for easier maintenance.
