Summerfest holds annual gathering
The 6th Annual Summerfest, an event for carpet cleaners from the ICS Cleaning Specialist and other industry Bulletin Boards to gather in an informal environment to socialize and share business-building ideas and experiences, as well as demo tools and equipment in a non-trade show atmosphere, was recently held in Knoxville, Tenn.
The 6th Annual Summerfest, an event for carpet cleaners from the ICS Cleaning Specialist and other industry Bulletin Boards to gather in an informal environment to socialize and share business-building ideas and experiences, as well as demo tools and equipment in a non-trade show atmosphere, was recently held in Knoxville, Tenn.
More than 70 cleaners attended the three-day event, which included an IICRC-certified color repair class taught by Chemspec's Noel Frank, and a leather repair presentation by Tony Wheelwright of Leatherwright Seminars Inc. Dom Agostino of Dom's Cleaning Service in North Babylon, NY, and Lee Stockwell of Lee's Carpet Cleaning in Murray, Ky., were awarded tropies from the Magic Wand Co. for winning the spotting contest.
ICS raised more than $800 for Mothers Against Drunk Driving by selling Summerfest T-shirts.
