The
International Executive Housekeepers Association (IEHA) recently surveyed its
members to validate the value of IEHA’s educational programs, including the CEH
and REH Certifications.
Survey highlights:
- Of 247
members surveyed, 77% said IEHA education significantly helped them gain job
skills and self-confidence (rating overall helpfulness between 7-10 with 10
being highest). The largest subset rated it a “10”.
- Out of hundreds of
IEHA members surveyed about their earning potential before becoming CEH or REH
Certified, the largest subset said their pre-certification earning potential
was just average (rating it 5 out of ten with 10 being highest). Of those same IEHA
members surveyed about their earning potential after they became CEH or REH Certified, the largest
subset said their earning potential was excellent (rating it 9 out of ten with
10 being highest) after being
certified.
- Out of 236 members polled
to assess the Return on Investment (ROI) from their IEHA education, 77%
believed IEHA programs yielded 100%-1,000% or greater ROI.
“We are
gratified to see these results confirm what we have long believed, that IEHA
education is the key to job security, professional growth and advancement for
our members,” said
Beth
Risinger, CEO of IEHA.
“Armed
with this information, our members can make a strong case for conveniently
pursuing higher education through our Professional Education Credentialing
Programs (PECP),” said Sarah Larsen, IEHA Deputy Director. “And they can
now do it at their own pace and speed online at IEHA.org.” For more
