June 8, 2009 – (TDN.com) -- Ross Hansen knows little good deeds can turn first-time customers into repeat customers of Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning by Hansen’s Services.

Sometimes that means helping a couple load a wheelchair into a car. Or helping an elderly customer move furniture. Or doing a quick clean of an outdoor rug - just because - after finishing a client’s living room floor.

They’re tricks Hansen learned from his father, Gordon Hansen, who sold him the family carpet-cleaning business in 2003. They’re tricks that have kept the Longview business going strong for a half-century, he said. Want the whole story?
