Tennant Begins Trading on NYSE

Minneapolis (PRNewswire) -- Tennant Company's common stock today began trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol TNC. Commemorating Tennant's move to the NYSE, Janet M. Dolan, the company's president and chief executive officer rang the opening bell at the Exchange. Dolan also purchased the first 100 Tennant shares to trade on the Exchange.

Dolan is one of only 22 women who currently lead U.S.-based NYSE-listed companies as president or chief executive officer. There are more than 3,000 companies listed on the NYSE.

Tennant reported sales of $429.4 million for the year ending December 31, 1999. The company has been publicly held since 1969 and currently has approximately 9 million shares outstanding.
