The Excitement of Connections 2003

March 10, 2003

If you haven’t already heard, the industry is abuzz with the news of Connections 2003. Eight regional trade associations from across the country, along with dozens of the most respected educators in the business, are combining their skills and resources to bring this long-awaited event to fruition.

Connections 2003 is the one event where you can experience it all, a national showcase for the carpet cleaning and restoration professional at the Riviera Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Oct. 2-4. How could you not be excited?

The North American carpet cleaning and restoration industry has truly been connected. The CFI, the CCINW, the PCUCA, the PCRA, the CRCII, the AWCC, the NEIRC and the LMCCA have all climbed aboard the Connections Express; we even expect a contingent from Down Under to make an appearance. ICS Cleaning Specialist is proud to be co-sponsoring this revolutionary event (be sure to attend our Industry Social the evening of Oct. 1; we’re looking forward to meeting you).

What’s important to your business? Mold is easily the hottest topic of the day. How about hearing Jim Holland, Rachel Adams, Eugene Cole, Jeff Bishop, Ed Cross and Peter Sierck present their thoughts and ideas with the latest insight on restoration?

Marketing and management you say? Professionals like Joe Polish, Howard Partridge, Rob Hanks, Doyle Bloss, Larry Cooper, Lee Pemberton and Tom Hill will show you how to gain the advantage over your competition and add dollars to your bottom line.

Who else? Try Aaron Groseclose, Dan Bernazzani, Dane Gregory, Carl Williams, Bob Wittkamp and a score of other well-respected industry figures ready to share their experience and knowledge with you.

Se habla Español? Connections 2003 is proud to present the first Spanish Education Program to be held at a cleaning and restoration convention. Stay tuned for more information on this precedent-setting program.

More? Conference keynoter Barry Costa will inspire, panels and breakout sessions will raise skill and knowledge levels to new heights, and what promises to be the largest carpet cleaning and restoration industry tradeshow assembled in years will be on-site – what’s not too love? There’s going to be food, entertainment (included in your registration package, of course) and a chance to see the latest equipment and accessories on the market; the first 100 exhibit booths were just about sold out in January. To meet this extraordinary demand, Connections has already expanded more than 50 percent!

The associations will hold their individual meetings and awards presentations during Connections. Many of the leading suppliers in the industry (Steam Way, Bridgepoint, Prochem, et al.) are already planning their own events to coincide with Connections. You can bet there will be a number of surprises in store as well.

Am I excited about Connections? You bet. This is an industry-wide event for everyone, from the seasoned professional to the wet-behind-the-ears rookie, bringing trainers, suppliers and professional cleaners together as never before.

The partnering of these associations gives Connections 2003 a synergy never before experienced in the carpet cleaning industry. I am excited by the emergence of an event destined to change the face of the industry forever. I am excited about a show that will focus the energies of regional events into a single, powerful showcase that will exceed the expectations of both exhibitor and attendee.

See you in October!
