Unsmoke opens new training facility

December 10, 2002
The Unsmoke Un-House disaster restoration facility in Braddock, Penn. has been relocated to Stowe Township in Pittsburgh. Renamed the Restoration Sciences Academy (RSA), the new facility boasts 15,000 square feet of classroom space and a plethora of disaster restoration and indoor microbial remediation challenges.

The academy features a room that has been smoked out and another that has been flooded so that students get hands-on experience toward achieving smoke odor removal, water damage restoration, electronics reclamation and various restoration and remediation techniques, according to Unsmoke.
