Water Out holds convention, unveils latest invention

Marco Island, Fla. played host to the 4th Annual Water Out Convention in June. Attendees who made the trek to the Marriot Marco Island Resort were privy to, among other things, the unveiling of what the company describes as "probably the largest trailer-mounted drying machine in the world."

The YD9000, a self-contained disaster recovery machine, takes up the complete floor space of a 32-foot trailer. An onboard diesel generator has enough capacity to power the superdryer and any auxiliary equipment, including fans and extraction tools, with plenty of power in reserve. Early tests put the YD9000's drying capacity at 400 pounds of water per hour.
