Canton, MA - May 20, 2009 - In conjunction with its 25th anniversary, Pro-Link, a leading jansan-focused buying and marketing group, has just completed its annual meeting in Santa Ana Pueblo, NM, with the awards banquet held at the International Balloon Museum in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

As part of the festivities to mark Pro-Link’s 25th birthday, the founding members were honored with a special birthday cake (in attendance: Bernard and Richard Casey, Phil Consolino, Lynne Kirsner, and Dan Mirto).

According to Paul Lemieux, President of Pro-Link, the three-and-a-half-day annual meeting had the highest distributor attendance of any prior Pro-Link meeting. Members celebrated the past, and were excited about the future.

Keynote speaker at the event was former professional quarterback Tom Flick, now a business coach and motivational speaker, who talked about the importance of building teams for successful organizations.

Along with business meetings and a supplier tradeshow, attendees took part in Pro-Link’s annual golf tournament, a Harley-Davidson motorcycle ride through the desert, and tours of Albuquerque.

At each annual meeting, Pro-Link also honors members and suppliers that have excelled in sales or in providing assistance to the group. This year’s award winners by category are:
  • Distributor Link: Scoles Floorshine, Farmingdale, New Jersey
  • Distributor of the Year: Bell Janitorial, Ogden, Utah
  • Supplier Link Award Winner: Wausau Paper, Harrodsburg, KY
  • Supplier of the Year: Berry Plastics, Minneapolis, MN
  • Regional Manager of the Year: Erik Webb
“This was without question one of our best [annual] meetings ever,” says Lemieux. “Our members value this organization. That was obvious and why we are now beginning our 26th year of operation.”
