WACO, Texas (Dec. 7, 2007) – Rainbow International U.K., the first master licensee of U.S.-based The Dwyer Group, Inc., celebrated its 20th anniversary this year at the annual Reunion in Birmingham, England.

Rainbow International U.K is the market leader in fire/water/smoke restoration, thanks in large part to a record year in 2007, with a 19 percent increase in the total number of jobs compared to 2006. More than 20,000 of those jobs occurred in June and July after major flooding affected many parts of England. In just one day Rainbow International U.K. received 1,600 of those claims.

“Our franchisees have faced several imposing challenges over the past year,” said Phil Else, managing director of Rainbow International U.K. “In every instance, our franchisees met these challenges square on whilst improving customer service and work quality levels. This is an exciting time for us.”

During the anniversary festivities, several franchisees were awarded for their exemplary performance. The Rainbow International End2End cycling team also was recognized for completing a 1,000-mile bike ride to raise £50,000 ($100,000) for the Meningitis Foundation.

“We are extremely proud of our extended family across the pond,” said Dina Dwyer-Owens, CEO of The Dwyer Group, parent company of Rainbow International U.K. “As our first master licensee, they truly exemplify the Rainbow International focus on service to others and excellence in business.”
