RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC -- Gary Krall, President and Chief Operating Officer, Reichhold, Inc. (www.reichhold.com) will serve as honorary chairman of the Instrumentation, Systems and Automation Society (ISA), and will appear at ISA 2001 for the keynote speaker introduction on Monday, Sept. 10.
Krall is responsible for Reichhold's day-to-day operations and has more than 23 years of executive management experience in the chemical industry. He was appointed senior vice president of finance in 1999 and senior vice president of North America in April 2000.
The ISA 2001 Conference and Exhibition will take place Sept. 10-13 at the George R. Brown Convention Center, Houston, Texas. ISA 2001 is the largest instrumentation, systems and automation conference and exhibition in North America and features expanded technical/educational programs and a comprehensive products and services exhibition.
Running parallel to ISA 2001 will be the inaugural Emerging Technologies Conference. The advanced technologies conference will focus on product design, development issues, and technical strategies presented by researchers from around the world. The tracks for the conference include advanced manufacturing and design.
The ISA (www.isa.org) is a 39,000-member international, non-profit, educational and engineering organization, celebrating its 56th year in 2001. The Society fosters advancement in the theory, design, manufacture and use of instruments, computers and systems for measurement and automation.
Also this week, Julia D. Harp, Reichhold's senior vice president, Global Composites, announced the appointment of Leo van der Heiden as vice president of marketing and Alex Car as vice president of sales for Global Composites.
Harp said both van der Heiden and Car have extensive knowledge of the composites business, and were appointed to extend Reichhold's global reach and focus on customer needs.
