A Scarborough salesman has turned his hand to carpet cleaning as he launches his first business venture.

After many years in the sales trade Alan Scott decided it was time he worked for himself and now runs his own business; Alan’s Carpet Cleaning.

Mr. Scott underwent training with the National Carpet Cleaners Association, which he describes as “thoroughly enjoyable” giving him the “expertise and support” and needs. From the Scarborough Evening News.
