More than 40 cleaning and restoration professionals attended the annual membership meeting of the Society of Cleaning and Restoration Technicians on Thursday, April 14 during the Connections Conference and Exhibition in Clearwater, Fla.

The following board members were re-elected for 2011-2012 by the Membership: President- Gary Glenn, Abilene TX; Treasurer- Patti B. Savelle, Leesburg GA; Secretary- Rachel Adams, New Palestine IN; VP Operations- Peter Duncanson, Memphis TN; VP Membership- Tom Sherman, Shreve OH; VP Marketing- Bruce DeLoatch, Suwanee GA; Technical Advisor- Jeff Bishop, Dothan AL; Chris Taylor, Kingman AZ; Lenny Mingus, Lansing MI; Ken McIntosh, Dalton GA; Carey Mitchell, Dalton GA; Don M. McNulty, Blue Springs MO; and Cara Agerbeck, Atlanta GA.

Following the membership meeting, a reception was held. Drawings were held daily at the SCRT booth for prizes awarded to SCRT members present at Connections. A total of $450 in cash, two Windsor vacuums, an oriental rug donated by Shaw Industries, and an AMRT class donated by Rachel Adams were given away. After the Conference concluded, the SCRT held its bi-annual Board of Directors meeting, where increased scholarship benefits for SCRT members were approved.
