SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning hosted its Sixth Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Gypsum Creek Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 24.
SteamMaster Restoration and Cleaning hosted its Sixth Annual Charity Golf Tournament at the Gypsum Creek Golf Course on Friday, Sept. 24. Nestled in the Gypsum Valley, Gypsum Creek Golf Course is a Pete Dye-designed 18-hole Championship course for players of all caliber.
This year SteamMaster Golf included local non-profits as beneficiaries. The beneficiaries of this year's event were Vail Valley Charitable Fund, Minturn Community Fund - Family Emergency Fund, Vail Symposium and the Matthews Family Education Fund.
SteamMaster supports the Vail Symposium thought-provoking and diverse education programs in Vail Valley. As a member of Minturn Business Community, SteamMaster is also proud to raise funds for its local citizens in need through the Minturn Community Fund.
"SteamMaster has raised over $239,000 over the last 6 Golf Tournament and participated in numerous other fund-raising activities over the years," says Gary Gilman, President and Owner of SteamMaster. "We will continue with these efforts in the best of our abilities to give back to the community."
“This year we have $17,038.00 to give to the four beneficiaries of the tournament.” says Tournament Administrator, Raj Manickam. “Each two years the 2 out of 4 beneficiaries are rotated to include new non-profits and charitable not-for-profits.”
The tournament was founded in 2005 in memory of Kim Matthews, our marketing director at SteamMaster, who passed away from liver cancer. The tournament also benefits the children of the Matthews Family.
