Union City, California, October 14, 2002 – StoneTech Professional, Inc., based in Union City, California, has been named one of America’s entrepreneurial growth leaders by Inc magazine, which just released its 2002 Inc 500 ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies. The ranking will appear in the magazine’s special Inc 500 issue, which hits newsstands October 15.

StoneTech Professional achieved more than 1450 percent growth in the past five years, and is now recognized as a quality manufacturer of stone, tile and grout care products.

“Being ranked on the Inc 500 has been one of my goals for several years,” says StoneTech Professional President Michael N. Guasch. “ Our next goal is to make the list again, in 2003, with the ultimate goal of achieving 5-time ranking ‘Hall of Fame’ status. We are going to achieve this growth by developing new products and ventures, further increasing our value to current and future customers, while continuing to provide world-class products and service. Our philosophy is simple – to offer superior quality products, project a world-class, quality image in the marketplace, and educate the consumer on how to care for their stone and tile.”

As for the future, StoneTech Professional will continue to place a strong emphasis on research and development as it moves forward in the marketplace, the company says. By the end of 2002, StoneTech Professional will relocate its manufacturing facilities to a new 40,000 square foot complex in Pittsburg, California and the company’s corporate headquarters will be in Walnut Creek, California.
