Sutton Carpet nabs award

GOLDEN, Colo. (May 12, 2010) – announced today that Ray Martine is the recipient of the inaugural New York “Home Pro of the Year Award” for his outstanding ratings and performance, demonstration of community involvement and superior dedication to the home improvement industry.

In rough economic times, honored nine other service professionals in nine major cities across the US with the “Home Pro of the Year Award,” along with one national winner, to exemplify the ongoing appreciation for their hard work. Sutton Carpet survived post 9/11 by figuring out the key to success is through online marketing.

“ServiceMagic has contributed so significantly to my business and they are a pleasure to deal with,” said Martine. “Then, to be awarded and recognized by them for my service is truly a rewarding experience.”

A network member for more than six years, Martine goes above and beyond the call of duty in the home improvement Industry. During his off-time, his company donates to the Ronald McDonald House, where pediatric cancer patients stay while undergoing treatment. Sutton Carpet donates used carpets to all shelters for animal cages and left over new carpet to local community services and will celebrate its 30-year anniversary this year.
