Truckmounts and Cleaning Solutions Inc., Norcross, Ga., has bought out Truckmounts, Inc., of Chamblee, Ga.

NORCROSS, Ga.--Truckmounts and Cleaning Solutions Inc., (TCS) Norcross, Ga., in January inked the deal to buy out Truckmounts, Inc., of Chamblee, Ga. The two owners, Mike Monteith of TCS and Gary Paraedes of Truckmounts, Inc. signed the deal on Dec. 31.

Mike Monteith and Chan Parker collectively have 20 years experience in the industry. Steve Rider joined the TCS team in January of 2001 as sales manager.

Gary and his wife, Linda, ran Truckmounts, Inc for more than 20 years, and enjoyed a large national customer base. When he decided to retire, he approached Monteith and the wheels were set in motion.

The deal brought together two of the largest privately owned suppliers of carpet cleaning supplies, accessories and truckmounts in Georgia. After less than two years in operation, TCS (www.tcsatl.com) has seen its business grow rapidly in the last year prompting the need for more space before the buyout. As a result of the buyout, the inventory and personnel of the combined business were relocated to a 15,000 square feet facility in Norcross, Ga.

The showroom is 5000 square feet and includes a classroom for various courses, which will begin later in the year. The 10,000 square foot shop area has two install bays and three service bays. Construction on the huge 24-foot drive-through door is in progress and will be finished soon.

The distributorships both companies carried will not change. Brands such as Chemspec, Kleenrite, Bridgepoint, Dynachem, Hydramaster, Harvard Chemicals, Hydro-Force, US Products, Un-Smoke and Century 400 will still be represented by TCS. Both companies manufactured their own line of truckmounted systems. This will remain unchanged, as both types will continue to be manufactured.
