Tennant, Johnson venture produces new company

A joint venture between Tennant Co. and Johnson Wax Professional has created a new company, NexGen Floor Care Solutions LLC, which is marketing a "three-in-one" machine. The company says the NexGen machine performs the three most common floor care tasks in a single pass: Sweeper, scrubber and buffer.

NexGen operates at about 125 feet per minute, has a thumb switch for an accelerator and an easily accessible cutoff switch. NexGen is powered by fork lift batteries, which Tennant says can be easily changed after about six hours of work.

Tennant service technicians will handle bumper-to-bumper maintenance, and can be on-site within 24 hours of a service call.
